Qimi Summit

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Qimi Summit collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website, book a trek, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including your name, WhatsApp number, email address, group size, and preferred trek dates when you use a booking form or contact us. To register your national park permit, we also collect your passport number and nationality.

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. WhatsApp and third-party services

Our booking forms and buttons direct you to WhatsApp to confirm bookings with our team. When you use WhatsApp, your interaction is also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We may use standard analytics to understand how our website is used.

4. Permit registration

We share the minimum necessary data, your name, passport number, and nationality, with the relevant national park authority to issue your trekking permit, as required to enter Gunung Rinjani National Park. See our permit guide for how this works.

5. Data retention and security

We keep your booking information only as long as needed to provide our service and meet legal or regulatory requirements, then delete it. We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

6. Your rights

You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain certain records. Contact us via the contact page.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always appears on this page.

Last updated: this is a starting template. Have it reviewed for your jurisdiction and actual data practices before publishing.
