These terms govern bookings made with Qimi Summit for Mount Rinjani trekking programs. By booking a trek, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before confirming.
1. Booking and deposit
A trek is confirmed once we receive a deposit of 10% of the total trip cost. The remaining balance is due on arrival, before the trek begins. We accept USD, IDR, and major currencies via bank transfer or Wise. Your booking is tied to specific dates and a specific route.
2. Prices and what’s included
Prices are per person and vary by group size and service class, as shown on each package page. Standard inclusions are private transport in Lombok, a licensed guide, porter service, camping equipment, meals on the mountain, the national park permit, and trekking insurance. International airfare, personal trekking gear, extra porters for personal bags, and tips are not included.
3. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are confirmed at the time of booking. Because permits are tied to specific dates and quotas, changes close to your trek date may not be possible. We recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
4. Safety and the right to stop a trek
Your safety is our priority. Our guides may alter the route, pace, or itinerary, or stop the trek entirely, in response to weather, trail conditions, a trekker’s health, or national park instructions. No refund is due for an itinerary changed or ended for safety reasons beyond our control. Mount Rinjani is an active volcano in an earthquake-prone region, and conditions can change, see our notes on the current status.
5. Fitness and health
Trekking Rinjani is physically demanding. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and disclosing any medical conditions that may affect your trek. See how hard Rinjani is before you book.
6. Permits and personal data
We register your national park permit using the details you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of your name, passport number, and nationality. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
7. Liability
Trekking at altitude carries inherent risks. While we take every reasonable precaution, Qimi Summit is not liable for injury, loss, or delay arising from circumstances beyond our control, including weather, natural events, or a trekker’s own actions against guide instructions.
