Qimi Summit is a local Mount Rinjani trekking team based in Lombok, Indonesia. We don’t guide the mountain as a job. We grew up beneath it.
For us, Rinjani isn’t a product. It’s home. Our guides learned its trails before they learned to drive, and over the years we’ve led more than 500 trekkers to the summit and safely back down, through every season and every condition the mountain throws at us.
What we believe
Three things guide how we run every trek:
Safety is not negotiable. Our guides read the weather, set the pace, and will turn a group around rather than risk it. We’d rather you summit next time than not come home this time. It’s the same standard we lay out in our guide to whether Rinjani is safe.
The experience is in the details. Fresh food cooked at camp, gear that works, porters who are paid and treated fairly, and a guide who’s genuinely beside you. The difference between a hard-but-amazing trek and a miserable one is almost always the team.
Local knowledge can’t be faked. We’re not a reseller passing your booking to the cheapest crew. We run our own guides and porters, and we’re accountable for your trek from the first message to the drop-off.
